You can choose between two engines for this model. The 2.3L four-cylinder engine is the base option with the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 being an upgrade. The EcoBoost engine delivers up to 315 horsepower with 400 lb.-ft of torque. The Raptor has its own engine in the 3.0L twin-turbo V6.
All engines are paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission for the Ranger.
This truck can tow up to 7500 pounds when you choose either the 2.3L or 2.7L engine.
You have a new body color choice with Avalanche for this truck. You can also choose to add a power moonroof with SuperCrew being available with 4×4 to make it easier to go off-roading. ActiveX seats are available for the Lariat and the base trim can have the FX4 Off-Road Package.
The XLT and Lariat offer available 4×4 systems with the Raptor making 4×4 capability a standard feature.
